The first BBC network radio play two nights ago Three Friends ( the band) courtesy of Steve Davis whist he was hosting the Jarvis Cocker Show BBC 6 , the band sounded good to me.
I’ve had a few interesting sessions recently ….a couple of tracks for Guitarist Chris Spedding on his forth coming latest solo record and also for a Guitarist of a different ilk my old mate Brian James.
The Glastonbury for Chris Jagger was sadly sparsely attended, I think everyone was in the next field watching Paul Simon
Gary Green and I are off to play with Orchestra Contemporanea in Italy this month.
I’m writing this from a Hotel in Harwich UK, nice concert last night at the Electric Cinema Theatre Harwich with Spike Heatley Trio with Alan Barnes, Alan is a dazzling player, great wit and musician. coming Sunday at the Bulls Head , Barnes with Spike’s Trio with Art Theman.
Then on Monday to France for a week to record another Chris jagger c.d. at his brothers House.
On 1.5.2011 Three Friends played Gouveia Art Rock Festival all went very well here are two
